Join WeaveTales’s New American Speaker’s Program students on Thursday, June 17th, 2021, on Facebook Live or Zoom for a night of storytelling and speeches. Our students will be sharing some of their work from the course and their experiences as a refugee and immigrant with the audience. Through the New American Speaker’s course, students are developing public speaking and writing skills to best share and showcase their stories of migration or as a newcomer to the U.S. Each of our students will be allotted 5 minutes to share their work and practice their public speaking in a safe environment. Our goal is to share their stories for advocacy and educational purposes. We hope to see you there! Register now through Eventbrite to reserve your spot.
